So I've been trying to treasure each moment that I can of Sam's babyhood. He's so cuddly (unlike his big brother), and sweet, and quite the handsome little man. This mommy cannot dole out enough kisses and hugs. I may be breaking some parenting "rules" out there by over-cuddling, co-sleeping, and nursing "on-demand" -- but I really don't care. I would have done all these things with Ben if he'd have let me.
Then there's little Ben, who though not a baby anymore, is still little and still my firstborn. He is talking so much, and remembering a lot more than we give him credit for. For example, yesterday Bryan told him that the object in his hand was a piece of foam. Ben didn't acknowledge it and moved on...then this morning Ben found it again and said "foam!" If he's trying to tell me something and I can't understand him, I say "What are you saying, Ben?" and then instead of repeating it - he says "what are you sayin' Ben?" It's so cute. We are starting to have small conversations and it's wonderful.
So if I don't update this blog much -- it's because I'm busy trying to soak up every minute that I can with my boys!! They are God's precious gifts to me and I don't want to miss a thing.
